The Semperian Approach

The Semperian business model of infrastructure management combines the functions of Asset Management and Fund Management into a single integrated organisation.  This integration streamlines the Executive and overhead required to operate the business, enabling Semperian to employ a pool of highly skilled and experienced individuals and deploy those resources to the assets that require more management and when it is needed.

The scope of services that Semperian undertake at the Group Level, include:

  • Group Reporting
  • Portfolio Management
  • Accounts Consolidation
  • Value Enhancement Actions
  • Risk & Controls Management

Whilst at the asset level Semperian undertake the following services:

  • Operational Management
  • Financial Management
  • Financial Modelling
  • Company Secretarial
  • Life Cycle delivery
  • Health, Safety & Environment

Semperian believes that having the internal resources necessary to manage a diversified portfolio of assets, both mitigates risk and aligns employees directly to investors' interest. This strategy differs from that of most other PFI/PPP Funds, which outsource operational management and whose fund managers are misaligned to the interest of the shareholders.

Semperian’s internal management cost is less than an equivalent of 0.50% of Net Asset Value, which is amongst the lowest in the sector.
